Launched in 2018 December, five years back GIBC was & still is India's only International ballet competition. In its first year, GIBC welcomed 75 ballet competitors across India from cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune & Ahmedabad.

2019

With GIBC 2, we were overwhelmed to receive participation from 100 ballet participants from cities Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Anmedabad & Nagaland The event was held at the Russian Centre for Science & Culture with great support from it's Director & Vice consulate, respected Dr. Mr. Sergey Fondeev. It was sponsored by Ballet brands such as Dancebible, En Pointe & Alternatives India; while its media partners were Radiocity & MidDay paper. In its first of a kind, the deserving winners were awarded ballet scholarships to Serbia, Vienna, Germany & South Africa. This 2 days event also saw a special ballet talk seminar by India's prominent ballet professionals.

2020

GIBC 3 saw its first ever ONLINE competition. Welcoming participants from India & worldwide, the competition was held FREE of cost for all participants in order to support the dancing community through this difficult pandemic. Deserving winners received scholarships to schools in Moscow, London & South Africa, while ARBTA UK sponsored a scholarship fund of 300 Britain Pounds.

2021

GIBC 4, this year the competition witnessed 100+ participants from worldwide countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand, Egypt, United Kingdom & India. Just like last year, this year too GIBC was FREE of cost for all participation as our motive is to support the Indian ballet community especially through this difficult phase of the pandemic.
